Spring into Beechworth

The flowers are blooming, the sun is shining and Beehworth beckons your visit. The next few months are some of the best to visit Beechworth and make the most of the relaxed atmosphere, al-fresco dining and maybe sample the new spring and summer fashions that have arrived in town.

Beechworth Celtic Festival

The Beechworth celtic Festival is on again and this year promises a huge line up of over 100 celtic performers. There are music sessions for beginners, workshops for all and the return of the ever popluar FREE street stage as well as some special ticket only venues. The Sunday poet's breakfast is not to be missed and the Celtic dinner on the Friday night promises to be a gala Scots night with haggis and pipers, performers and fun. Christmas is Coming

Rumour has it that Santa's reindeers have visited Beechworth early this year and there are lots of great gift ideas to be found. Here are just a few of our favourites: Spoil a loved one (or two) with a gift voucher from one of Beechworths excellent accommodation houses, or maybe a hight out at the always popular Bank Restaurant or Wardens Food and Wine. Maybe a new addition to the wardrobe from The Ardent Alpaca or Beechworth Classic Apparel, something special for the children from Redhill Childrenswear or the always popular Beechworth Toys. And don't forget Beechworth's, and Victoria's, highly awarded Newsagency for an excellent range of Christmas cards and decorations. Book your accommodation vouchers online today or visit Beechworth in the next weeks for all your Christmas shopping. There are also some excellent venues for Pub Christmas celebrations in Beechworth and both The Hibernian Hotel and Tanswells Commercial are highly recommended, but be sure to book early.
