Visitors to Beechworth have a variety of pleasant day trip options to choose from. One of the greatest pleasures of this idyllic region is simply meandering through the nearby forested roads on a scenic drive. A popular option is to take a simple 90-minute loop that bypasses Mount Stanley, which provides memorable views of the picturesque countryside and many gentle walking opportunities for visitors. Although the drive up to Mount Stanley doesn't take a great deal of extra time from the regular loop through Stanley Township, it's worth allotting a full afternoon for the experience to enjoy the scenery.
