Beechworth Pioneers MonumentThe Beechworth Pioneers Monument is located in the centre of Beechworth on the corner of Camp Street and Ford Street in front of the Post Office. It was erected in 1954 in honer, and in memory, of the pioneers who founded Beechworth and the fact that it was once a famous gold mining town.

Madman's Gully Monument

Madman's Gully Monument in BeechworthThe Madman's Gully Monument is located on the perimeter of Beechworth on the road to Stanley. It is set in a large granite bolder with a reproduction of the A.W. Eustace painting of 1858 titled 'Woolshed'. The painting depicts a scene typical of the Beechworth Diggings of the 1850's. It was presented to Indigo Shire on 15th November 2007 by the Ballarat Reform League Inc with the assistance of The Vera Moor Foundation.

Spring Creek Gold Memorial BeechworthThe Spring Creek Gold Memorial in Beechworth is located near Newtown Bridge and was erected in 1954 to commemorate the discovery of gold in February 1852 in the nearby Spring Creek, approximately 80 yards southeast of the monument.

Armed Services Memorial BeechworthLocated in the Beechworth Town Hall gardens this memorial is dedicated to the men and women of the armed services from the Beechworth District who gave their lives in the service of their country in all the conflicts in which we have been involved. Lest We Forget. The memorial was unveiled by Major-General Sir Kingsley Norris K.B.E., C.B., C.B.E., D.S.O., ED., K.S.T.J., M.D. on 12th April 1964.

Queen Victoria Park Canons

Queen Victoria Park Canons in BeechworthSitting high overlooking the Queen Victoria Park on an exposed granite outcrop are two imposing bronze canons dating back to 1845. Little is documented or known about the canons or how they found their way to Beechworth. The date would suggest may have been used during the Crimean War 1853 - 1856.
