Beechworth Pioneers Monument

The Beechworth Pioneers Monument is located in the centre of Beechworth on the corner of Camp Street and Ford Street in front of the Post Office. It was erected in 1954 in honer, and in memory, of the pioneers who founded Beechworth and the fact that it was once a famous gold mining town.

Armed Services Memorial Beechworth Located in the Beechworth Town Hall gardens this memorial is dedicated to the men and women of the armed services from the Beechworth District who gave their lives in the service of their country in all the conflicts in which we have been involved. Lest We Forget. The memorial was unveiled by Major-General Sir Kingsley Norris K.B.E., C.B., C.B.E., D.S.O., ED., K.S.T.J., M.D. on 12th April 1964.
