Built
in 1858, Kinross began life as a manse for the Presbyterian
Church in Beechworth but now provides elegant bed and breakfast–style
accommodation.
Kinross
offers the best in bed & breakfast – old world charm,
ambience and personal service. Nestled in a beautiful cottage
garden in the centre of Beechworth near excellent restaurants
and shops.
Guests
are treated to the choice of four spacious elegant guestrooms
all with high ceilings, en suites and open fires, and individually
decorated with period furniture. There is one king/twin size
room and three queen size rooms. In addition, all rooms
have comfortable chairs or sofas, heating (two rooms with
reverse
cycle airconditioning), TV/DVD, electric blankets, ceiling
fans, tea/coffee making facilities,
hairdryers,
iron
and ironing
board.
On
cool days, relax by the open fire in the lounge room, or by
the one in your own guestroom. On warm days sit on the front
verandah overlooking the garden, or relax in the quiet rear
courtyard.
A
sumptuous, cooked-to-order country style breakfast is served
in the guest lounge/dining room. On weekends join your hosts
and fellow guests for complimentary pre-dinner drinks of local
wines/ales and nibbles.
There
is off street parking at the front of the house where guests
can leave their car and stroll to the excellent restaurants,
specialty shops, galleries and museums, and discover the history
of Beechworth.
